Aspect Ratio Habits
In my earliest days in photography, I made images that were all in a 3:2 or 4:3 aspect ratio — no doubt because of my cameras. Lately, however — influenced I suspect by my computer monitors, movies and television, and even my tablet devices — I'm tending to see and make photographs that are 16:9 or 16:10. Is this a matter of my eye being retrained to see in these ratios?
