Fwiw; a method that doesn’t change the baseband is to use iFaith 1.5.9, to save the SHSH blobs and build a custom ipsw with them, then restore that via iTunes and just use redsnow 0.9.15b3 for the jailbreak (via the 6.0 ipsw) but sn0wbreeze might as well be used instead of this alternative (presently at least).
