(Washington, DC) Civil rights pioneer Rosa Parks will be honored in Washington, DC on Wednesday.
President Obama will unveil a statue dedicated to Parks in the Statuary Hall at the U.S. Capitol.
In 1955, Parks refused to give up her seat on an Alabama bus after a hard day at work.
The move landed her in jail and set off a civil rights movement to end segregation.
Parks died in 2005.
