As World Tours go, you’ve got to consider it a success; sold out venues, huge press coverage, adoring fans everywhere he goes. But now, the Pope Francis roadshow takes on a new logic – of course he’s touring: he’s got an album coming out. A prog-rock album, no less. “Wake Up” arrives in November, a collection of his favorite speeches and hymns, including “Wake Up! Go! Go Forward!” Not to be confused with the similarly named 80’s jam from George Michael and Wham!

But in Palo Alto we saw a vision of the future of waiting in line for tech: Brianna Lempesis, number 15 in line, via her BeamPro Remote Presence Device – a mobile robot that looks like an iPad on wheels. A lot like Sheldon’s Shelbot on Big Bang Theory a few years ago. OK, I’m a geek.
