It’s no doubt that the upcoming Surface Pro 4 will feature the company’s latest operating system, and as far as the rumors are concerned Microsoft is going to call the device only the Surface Pro – without a generation specifying digit. As far as the form factor is concerned, it is expected to be made out of the same old magnesium alloy but would be a little thinner and lighter than the Pro 3. According to a Chinese news website cnBeta, the Surface Pro is going to launch with the two screen sizes this year, 12-inches and 14-inches. Many of the technology giants are now pushing their monster size tablets on the market and apparently the upcoming variants of the Surface Pro 4 are just the Microsoft’s way of telling how powerful a tablet computer can be.

Other than a slimmer form factor, Microsoft is less likely to bring any other substantial cosmetic changes in the design of the Surface Pro 4. It will put less stress on the production line, and will also let the users use their existing accessories with the Surface Pro 4, it’s only the matter of time when it is announced.

If we talk about what will be going inside the Surface Pro 4, then we can expect an Intel 6th generation skylake processor to make the design a little thinner and lighter.
