Evasi0n is the most popular Jailbreak software ever released for iOS. Here at absinthejailbreak, we have already posted boggling statistics regarding the Evasi0n Jailbreak. But the numbers keep on growing, and it looks like Evasi0n has now evaded millions of devices. Evad3rs release of the most-awaited iOS 6.x Jailbreak, called Evasi0n, followed soon after the release of the iOS 6.1.1 a month ago.
Evasi0n quickly achieved over 100,000 uses on devices such as the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad.
Four days after Evasi0n’s release, more than 7 million devices were jailbroken using the software. But some new statistics have been published regarding the Evasi0n Jailbreak: according to Pod2g, the lead member of Evad3rs, more than 14 million devices have now been jailbroken on iOS 6.x.
Saurik aka Jay Freeman, the developer of Cydia, reported these statistics, and here’s what Pod2g tweeted:
Of course, there are tools besides Evasion to Jailbreak iDevices, such as Redsn0w and Sn0wbreeze, but these tools work only with older iOS devices, such as the iPhone 3Gs, 4 and iPod Touch. Moreover, Evasi0n is arguably easier to use than any of the above mentioned tools. So, we can safely assume that most of the iOS 6.x users who are running jailbroken their iDevices are using Evasi0n.
