British carmaker, Jaguar is all set to roll in the latest version of the Jaguar XJ, titled as the Jaguar XJ Ultimate onto the Indian roads. The premium sedan has been tagged with a heavy duty price of around Rs 1.87 crore.
Jaguar claims that the XJ Ultimate will offer the most luxurious experience to passengers on the rear seat. This version of the luxury car is available only with a long wheelbase, lending to the enhanced riding comforts. Also added is a revised suspension for added rear ride comfort.
The new launch retains most of its predecessors features in terms of design. The main changes on the exterior include a new air intake and exclusive 20 inch Maroa forged alloy wheels with a dual tone colour scheme. There is also the oval exhaust tips which come in polished stainless steel and the “Ultimate” badge.
The interiors have two new individually tailored rear seats with power adjustments, massage and ventilation functions. The rear seats are also separated by a full length, leather covered central console which holds a table with piano black and chrome finish, and emerges at the touch of a button. There is a Champagne chiller positioned between the rear two seats and is complemented with two exclusively made champagne flutes, which is placed inside a cabinet beneath the centre table.
The luxury automobile is equipped two iPad 3 devices with wireless headphones and wireless keyboards for the rear passengers. The sedan also has Meridian surround sound in-car entertainment system that has 20 speakers placed in various spots within the car.
The Jaguar XJ Ultimate will be available in two engine options – 5.0-litre V8 supercharged petrol and 3.0-liter V6 diesel engines.
