With the arrival of the iPad 3 in Apple stores people seem to be going absolutely insane. While there are many things to be excited about when it comes to this product, I think what some people go through to get their hands on one is ridiculous.
I would never wait in line for hours and hours simply to buy a gadget that might or might not be replaced with an updated version very quickly. Apple seems to "unveil" a new iPhone, iPod, and iPad every few months and yet people continue to line up and wait overnight for these things.
I have so far had two iPods, one which completely broke before a new generation upgrade was even out, and the iPad 2 which I gave to my cousin because it did the same thing my laptop did, and I have a MacBook Pro. All of these gadgets are fun sure but I never found myself camping out for any of them.
Just like any other technology, there are faults with the iPad 3 that you can bet Apple is already working to fix for the iPad 4 release which I expect to be early 2013 if not before the end of this year.
