Apple has warned
UAE customers who buy new IPad from the gray market for services will not be an option available to them.
"We do not officially lunch the product in the UAE. We know what is available on the market and sold by different dealers. Customers who purchased them will not be able to get service done, if there is no official launch in the UAE," says Director of Information Apple's customer service center UAE. There has been no official launch of the new IPad in the UAE yet. Apple has denied that he had officially announced the launch of a new IPad 3 in the UAE, and said customers will have to wait much longer. Apple has launched the latest version of IPAD in the United States and certain other markets, including the UK, Singapore and Malaysia, 16 in March. More than a month later on April 27, it was launched in several countries, including India, Colombia, South Africa and Thailand. But Apple has not officially announced the launch date in the UAE and other Gulf countries. There have been rumors in the gray market, the new IPad will be officially unveiled later this month. New IPad sells for Dh1900 for 16GB WiFi only models, but at a price of 4G DH2, 450 Emirates 247 was previously reported that the new product can be officially announced later this month. "We have not the date of its launch in the UAE, at least not today or in the next few days", a call center executive said.
