Apr 30th 2012, 11:03

The new iPad/iPad 3/third generation iPad has been with us for more than a month now, but we STILL don't really care what it's officially called, we just want to know what to do on it to please our eyes.

The new tablet from Apple boasts a 2048 x 1536 Retina Display, and last month we collected together 10 of the best Retina Display apps that had been given a super high resolution update to coincide with the shiny new launch. So now, a month on, we've collected together 10 more including a few quirky games, news applications and some that are oh so sensible and make us more productive too.

Sketchbook Pro
What is it? Sketchbook Pro is a really popular iPad app, specially designed for digital artists. However, we imagine it'd suit those who aren't fancy arty-types, but want something a bit more advanced to edit their images. The app has as intuitive multi-touch interface, which makes painting, drawing, editing and tweaking easy. What's been updated? Sketchbook Pro has had an update recently that means you can work across the whole screen and twist it around to work in any orientation. It's been updated for the new Retina Display too, which is good for an application so focused on good looking images. I've spent ALL OF my money on the new iPad, so please say it's cheap? Well it's £2.99, which may seem a little pricey for an app, but considering it's one of the best out there for editing, drawing and tweaking you can't really complain. Get it from iTunes for £2.99.
