As a follow-up to my
previous post, the writing accessories I got for my iPad 3 are the
Wacom Bamboo Stylus and the
Logitech Tablet Keyboard. Both work nicely and are generally well-regarded, as far as I can tell.
The Wacom stylus is rather expensive for what you get, but so are most other iPad accessories – call it the Apple tax! It's not vastly more accurate than finger drawing because of the soft broad tip required for capacitive touchscreens, but there's still a noticeable improvement and you don't obscure your vision so much.
The Logitech keyboard is essentially the same as Apple's Bluetooth keyboard for Macs, but with iPad-specific shortcut keys and a folding case for the keyboard that doubles as an iPad stand. The keyboard is decently sized and of good quality, as you would expect from Logitech. Recommended if you don't already have an iPad stand as those are amazingly expensive when purchased separately (see above).
