Apple is likely to announce iPad 3 at a 'special event' in California on 7th March. Yet, the purpose of this event is still not verified as 'official iPad 3 introduction and announcement' but the Apple movements are all indicating that they are launching a new tablet or probably iPad 3 release date will be confirmed in this event.
Apple had sent an email to all the journalists to meet up on 7th of March, 10 am pacific time at a private event in San Francisco, California. They have emailed the above picture to everyone in which we can see an iPad with some finger over it. The message on the picture clearly speaks that Apple have something exciting which everyone must need to know. The company didn't clearly comment back if it is a new iPad 3 or not but they have kept it as a surprise.
On the other hand, the market shares for the Apple Inc. are all hiking up even before this announcement. Till yesterday, Apple shares were raised by 1.8% and there shares are now about $500 billion worth in market!
If this is confirmed that iPad 3 release date and introduction will be announced on March 7th event, then iPad 3 release will be after an year exactly to the 2nd generation iPad which was released in March 11th 2011. We don't have any thing clear about the iPad 3 features either from Apple but there are many rumor rounds getting around the world.
Among the many speculations for the new iPad 3, the popular features which are probable to be equipped with this new gadget are: a powerful camera, much higher resolution screen and a faster processing chip. There are many manufacturing and sales based stories with some evidences which declare that they will be a part of iPad 3 in real.
The high resolution screen is kind of confirmed as the backlight panels were designed with the new technology advent in Asian countries and the resolution is expected to be 2048 by 1536 pixels. While, the camera will be more faster and with new optics but it could be like iPhone 4s. Moreover, the battery duration and life will be now increased as it is one of the major issues people wanted Apple to work on plus company also revealed their interest in making battery better. SIRI features are also reported to be added in this new gadget.
There is chatter about the new iPad 3 price that it will be raised about 70$ to 80$ depending on model types. Since, iPad 3 will be release with the two model types, 3G and Wi Fi simple model. Also, there will be a price cut in older iPad models as soon as the new iPad 3 hits market. The old models, iPad and iPad 2 prices have already been trimmed down to 50$ on best buys.
iPad market shares are much dominating than any other brand. Though, we have Android, WebOS and possibly the new Windows 8 operating systems to be competing with the iOS and therefore, Apple surely needs to make the iOS a better one. However, we are already hearing news about the new iOS 5.1 and it will be of capabilities which will make it to use on quad chip tablets.
Last time when iPad 2 was released, Apple has worked out both in hardware and software performance and they have made this gadget 33% better than the original iPad. Yet, we need to wait what is added in actual iPad 3 features.
